Small group assignments

A series of leadership training has begun in three of the four Firstlight Fellowship churches in Seka, Nong Bua Lam Phu and in Khon Kaen, Thailand. The trainings are taking place weekly and on a monthly basis in each location, and there is a solid core of leaders being trained.

I (Dan) was there personally to start the training in the Khon Kaen church, last month with Pastor Narong and his wife Ruoiphawn. They have identified seven leaders to be trained on how to evangelize the lost, pray for the sick, cast out demons and to lead cell groups. The planting of this church began six months ago with new members being added regularly. In order to sustain the growth, there is a need for us to raise up others who can help to shoulder this great work.

Each of these training sessions begins with a time of praise, worship, and corporate prayer. This time is always special as we invite the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, direct us and to teach us from the Word. Most importantly, we invite Him to change our lives to become more like Jesus in everything we do. Our goal this year is to strengthen our leadership core in each of these churches and it is happening!
