Each One Uniquely Chosen and Created by God

HOW does our human spirit which makes each person completely unique enter our bodies and create a new, never been done before human? No copies, no duplicates? Even identical twins, who share DNA, often develop different personality traits likes, dislikes, styles, food and music preferences. We are, each of us, one of a kind!!

In 2016 India began implementing a unique citizen identification program, using biometrics. In that year they were able to enroll over one billion people…NO DUPLICATES!

This uniqueness is the indelible imprint of a loving Creator God putting His divine imprint of each and every one of us. In Psalm 139 it says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together inside our mothers’ wombs.

For this reason ALL human life is sacred. It is to be celebrated, protected, nurtured, and given room to grow. Each child is heaven sent, with a heaven stamped mandate on his or her life. Their life is a gift to this world and to the generation that they are born to. It is our role, then, as the church, to open our arms, our hearts, and our resources to all children. Firstlight’s Families Without Fathers Program is a part of reaching and finding children who need that extra protection, extra attention and mentorship. To be someone to stand alongside them as they grow and become the young men and women whom God has created the gift of their lives to be.
