Welcome to this month’s issue of Firstlight News. Our monthly communications of the work of Firstlight International in the places where we serve.

You will notice we have made some changes and we hope that you will continue to enjoy following these reports each month. Each ministry news item and featured article tells an amazing story of what is being accomplished through a great team of dedicated people. If you are reading this newsletter, that includes you.

Together with our Firstlight Area Teams we are bringing the light and love of Jesus into areas of Thailand that have very little or no gospel witness in their communities. And by doing so we are living our lives in obedience to the Lord’s commands to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And to go and make disciples of all of the nations. (Mark 16:15, Matt. 28:19,20)

Recently we held a series of meetings in the Firstlight Fellowship church in Suwannakhuha, Thailand geared towards worship, prayer, teaching and evangelism. Special moments set aside to come before God and to seek His face afresh.

As a church this is something that we do quite often but this time it was different. Church members were excited. Joyful. Responsive. Hungry for the Presence of God. Lost in worship. A sense of fervent prayer … pressing in to know the love of the Father causing our fellowship with one another to deepen with purpose.

As our evangelistic teams that went out , they returned with encouraging reports. Four people came to Christ during our Sunday morning service and another seven were water baptized that day. We serve an awesome God.

To God be the glory great things He has done!
