KRA’S & AMP’S… Do you have them?

No matter what we do in life, we all seem to have a common desire to succeed in what we are called to and to accomplish great things. It’s who we are; how God made us – hardwired, if you will, to see things move forward, to progress and to be satisfied with the results of your labors.

A lot of that depends on what it is that you are wanting to accomplish, or areas that we would like to see results or successes in. You could call those Key Result Areas (KRA’S). These are areas upon which a clear outcome has been defined as a result of an action being taken. With KRA’S, the results or the outcomes of our actions must be defined so that we know what success looks like when it occurs. They become the measurements by which progress is determined as we move through life. Once we have those, we can then commit them to a set of plans – the action steps that will be taken to get the results we desire. In Firstlight, we call these steps our Annual Ministry Plans (AMP’S). These plans spell out the specific steps that we need to take on an annual basis to accomplish our mission of changing lives and transforming communities through Health, Education, Moral Economic & Community Development. And, its working!
