The biggest will of God is that every man; woman and child on the face of the earth have the opportunity to receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. John 3:16 “for God so loved the world that he gave His only son that whosoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life ” Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
When The Lord calls us to Him, He equips us and sends us. When we obey we pray because we know we cannot do it by ourselves. That is the case with Firstlight International. We have to pray to see His will accomplished. Only He can accomplish His plan. With the confidence that He wants to accomplish His will, we see it happen.
As you read our news reports you see the answers to prayer from allowing us to be in difficult places to souls receiving Jesus as their Savior. He gives us His grace and power and we give Him all the Glory.
As a Member of the Board of Directors of Firstlight International and long time friend, I see and hear answers to prayer and know the prayers and tears over the years. Please pray with us for workers, open doors, fruit that lasts, and finances.
Dan reported in the August newsletter on his recent visit to a Firstlight church in Nong Bua Lam Phu where he saw some young people answer an alter call to give their lives to Christ through tears and repentance.
That’s what it is all about and that only happens through answered prayer. Your prayers are bringing forth fruit!
