How to Pray for Thailand

This is an urgent call out for our friends to pray for Thailand. Thailand sits at a crucial stage in its history. As one who is careful to keep up on the news, it has been alarming to see the anger that once again is besetting this ordinarily peaceful country. Deeper and deeper divisions between political parties are occurring. Several years ago, this anger and bitterness boiled over to violence. Nearly 100 were killed, thousands injured, and untold property damage occurred. Somehow, Thailand managed to bring herself back to a place of sanity, elections were held, and peace ensued.

However, the underlying divisions still exist, as well as a deep distrust between the opposing groups. Once again, protesters besiege Bangkok, blocking the streets, holding up commerce. Once again, anger is growing.

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN BEST PRAY FOR THAILAND:

Pray for the leaders of this country, on both sides, that the Lord will touch their hearts and give them wisdom. Please pray that violence does NOT break out. No more loss of life. Pray for wise leadership who can guide the two opposing sides to a place where they can discuss and decide how best to move this great country forward

Finally, pray for God to use His church as a place of blessing, peace, and healing during these troubled times. Thank you for praying!
