This is our seventh Christmas in a row stateside!! This is a personal record in my life from the past 34 years! Josiah will join us for a few days, and we will have our special things we do as a family. Dan got a deer this season, so we are in for some great venison curry!!
On another note, this is always the time of year when we seek the Lord for a word, or words for the upcoming year. Last year, 2017, I felt like the Lord spoke 3 specific things to me:
1st. Just show up. I am happy to report, that over the past 12 months, I have been overseas, at Dan’s side, for fully 5 months! Also, we traveled and ministered here in the US for at least 6 weeks or so. I showed up! And in every place and every setting, Jesus was there with me!
The 2nd thing I felt the Lord say, is: Timing is everything. This has been SO true, from praying and booking hotels, plane tickets, to reaching out to specific people to pray for them, give them a word of encouragement.
Finally, I felt the Lord calling me to fall in love with Him all over again; that His deep, abiding love would both lead and keep me. And indeed, it has. A Merry Christmas and Spirit led New Year to you all!
