After being in the States for a brief moment this past summer, Debbie and I find ourselves back in Thailand moving forward in the plan and purpose of God for our lives. Our focus is on Jesus as we work towards extending His Kingdom in the places where we are called upon to serve.

Together, with our Firstlight Area Teams, we continue to implement the ministry platforms that we have put in place at the beginning of the year. Each project is bringing forth tremendous fruit in the lives of those who are being reached and we are blessed.

One of the most exciting moments this year, by far, was our Families Without Fathers – FWF Family Camp that was held last month at one of Thailand’s national parks located in Udon Thani province. There were over 120 in attendance from the FWF project – children and families and from each of our Firstlight Fellowship Church Network, churches and more. Close to 8 churches from 7 districts in the northeast region of Thailand. To God be the glory!

This FWF Family Camp is held annually in the month of October and, over the past five years, we have watched as this camp grew from being an FWF Project Camp to becoming an area/regional Family Church Camp, to a life-changing moment for many who attend each year.

The above verse gives us great confidence as we position ourselves to run our race to win in the last quarter of 2013.

Through your partnership, we are taking big strides in the Kingdom as we follow Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). We are deeply honored to be able to run this race with you each month.
