An FWF family

Through Families Without Fathers (FWF) there are 86 children in 6 locations being reached in 2013.

Each year the FWF project is making a tangible difference in the lives of impoverished children and families in Thailand. During a recent home visit, I was reminded once again of the challenges that each of these families are faced with. And, once more, I have recommitted myself to reaching them.

By God’s grace and by His provision that is being expressed through you, we are able to provide weekly visits to the homes and area schools to every child involved in FWF.  School fees and related supplies are being provided twice a year – in May and in October.

The assurance that it brings to each of these families to know that they are not forgotten and that God cares for them is priceless. Our Firstlight Area Teams are working hard to provide the level of care and encouragement to those who are faced with the reality of a fatherless household. Throughout scripture we know that God cares for the orphan and the widow and we are deeply honored to be working with those who are close to God’s heart.

More of these families are coming to Christ regularly. Jesus is making Himself known to them as we become His Hands and His Feet to the hurting.
