“For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.” Acts 22:15 NAS
The Holy Spirit is moving in the earth in unprecedented ways. God, as promised, is pouring out His Spirit upon all mankind … our sons and daughters prophesy of Him. We know this to be true, because it is happening before our very eyes. In Thailand, we see the young and old, longing to pray, and hungry for worship. They are learning to find their place in the presence of the Living God.
At IHOP Kansas City (International House of Prayer), there is a generation of young and old who come to this place just to pray and to worship. Some take it a step further and go into the YWAM program there, to be sent on global outreach and service. They are remarkable both in their eagerness to serve as well as their humility. They will go far and do mighty things.
In Minneapolis, we have met with a generation of Hmong/Lao Americans — young people whose hunger for God and enthusiasm for worship has us set our calendars to be with them every August seeking God.
In Pittsburgh, it has been our joy to be part of a group of young people completely sold out to seeking after the presence of God, and who pray, earnestly, for others. Sometimes, they will set aside entire weekends to just being together, praying, singing, reading God’s Word — becoming world-changers.
These are world-changers — all. They are not interested in the status quo. They keep us sharp with their many questions, laughing, at their infectious joy, and shaking our heads with wonder at their love for us. They are reaching out to us to love them and walk with them. Not passing a baton … but carrying it, together, so that a lost and dying world can know Him and the power of His resurrected life. Lord!! We are grateful to You in these days, that You are sending out Your laborers into the harvest and that You are enabling us to go, together, to be world-changers.
