There are many lessons to be learned from ones childhood and upbringing. Depending on where your parents and grandparents lived [and or where they came from and how they were raised] has a lot to do with how each of us tend to see things as well whether good or bad.
In Christ there is room for improvements as one journeys through life and I am very proud of my upbringing. I love my family! The things that have been passed on to me have become a bedrock of who I am today. I’m sure you probably are able to recognize that in yourself some of the ways that you were raised as well.
One of the “lessons learned” in life when one is young is how to properly cross the street. Stop, Look & Listen has been drilled into us. When the coast is clear, you can then cross the street safely. As we are just about ready to step into a brand New Year, be sure to Stop, Look & Listen as the future unfolds.
