Earlier on in my Christian journey I discovered a series of prayers written by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament narrative.

As the author of many of the epistles [Ephesians, Philippines, Colossians etc.] Paul includes a prayer theme for each of those churches or groups of churches that he was writing to. To be spiritually enlightened – Eph.1:17-18; To know the hope of our calling – Eph. 1:19; To know the greatness of His power – Eph. 1:19; To be strengthened by His Spirit with all power – Eph. 3:15-20; To be filled with the knowledge of His will – Col. 1:9-10; To abound in love and in true knowledge – Phil 1:9-10 and more!

Often times I find myself going back to these power prayers and pray them for myself, and for others. Try it!
