One day training celebrations are taking place …
As part of the culture of the Firstlight Fellowship churches that are being planted in Thailand, there are regular trainings like these taking place throughout the year.
In the Firstlight Fellowship church in Seka, these types of training happen every other month with the believers from each house church or cell group who are coming together for prayer, worship, teaching, training, fellowship and more. For many, these training celebrations have become a normal part of their Christian growth and the church there is doing well. There is always ample time giving to praise and worship in preparation for the word and there is always those who will share testimonies of healings, answered prayer and others who just wanted to publicly give God praise. The response is always good and in that type of atmosphere, the Lord shows up and lives are changed.
Personal prayer and ministry
During most of these trainings, new believes are water baptized. Children and adults alike have followed Christ in this way. Their lives are a constant reminder to us of what Jesus commanded us to do: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” Mark 16:15. It has been wonderful to see all of the amazing things that are taking place.
Most importantly, in each of the training celebrations, the Word of God is taught and or preached and there is always room for prayer and personal ministry time. Many, having been filled with the Holy Spirit, are now witnessing for Christ in the places where they live and work. We cannot help but give God praise. PTL!
