I love the nation of India. As a young missionary girl in 1983, God sent me to South India to work with the leader of a group of Pentecostal churches scattered throughout the provinces of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Pastor P. Philip Papabathini and his dear wife, Lily, took me into their hearts and home when I had just come out of Nepal with a badly broken leg. I could not walk or work for many weeks and had no regular support, but they took me into their lives as a dear daughter to love and care for.
They trained me in prayer, faith, evangelism, reaching the poor with the Gospel, as well as a fearlessness in the face of all odds that I hide in my heart to this very day.
To my utter delight, during July 1 – 23, the Lord has opened up the door for us to work with two of their sons: Jaipaul, who is a leader and trainer for YWAM in Kansas City IHOP, and Prabhudas, who is leading the ever growing group of churches (over 500 now) from dear Chillakalu, the place where we first pioneered together 30 years ago.
Both brothers are strong in their parents anointing. Both have opened up their arms to receive Dan and I and invited us to come home.
Oh! My heart is FULL!
