The book of Job in the bible is one of those books that challenges our thinking and our theology in ways that we are not normally used to. When reading Job’s story, the book of James tells us to consider the outcome of Job: The Lord is compassionate and merciful restored double to Job and made him even more prosperous than at the beginning. (See James 5:11l; Job 42:11-17)
Even though all of Job’s friends tried to console him [to no avail], Job had a sense that something else was going on even though he might not have fully understood why. Trust the process; the Lord knows what He is doing! (READ Job 23:10)
