Breakthrough Prayer
In a full time or called to ministry such as Firstlight International, we can group the prayer-needs in 4 areas: Open Doors,Workers, Fruit and Finances. When we pray we enter the spiritual realm -hence praying in the spirit–this brings spiritual answers. The Bible says the atmosphere of praise and worship brings God into our midst and gives us access to the Father’s ear.
When Dan, Debbie, the Board, and you meet an obstacle in the work we pray. We have prayed many years for the open door in Thailand. Because of visa issues, Dan and Debbie had to leave the country every 3 months in the first couple of years at their own expense to get a new visas. They had to pray for the finances to even do that. They had to pray that they wouldn’t be denied. Today they have their own Thai organization (Firstlight Foundation) and can get long term visas without worry. They have been faithful and God has given them fruit in the land. Many have become Christians and churches have been established. We don’t take this for granted. This is breakthrough prayer–open doors, workers, fruit, and finance. Now they are working in Laos. Myanmar and China praying and teaching on a regular basis. They have become a place in God where others can grow their faith and see breakthroughs with their help and testimony. Their fruit is having breakthrough prayer.
You may think this sounds pretty easy unless you have tried the discipline of a life of prayer and know the distractions and warfare of the flesh. Please take some time to pray with Firstlight International for breakthroughs in prayer as they walk in the nations to see open doors to souls, workers to harvest, fruit that changes nations and finances to get it done.
