Leadership legend John Maxwell teaches a principle that suggests that much of our success in life is tied to things that we do on a daily basis.
This principle implies that if we want to see change in a particular area of our lives one must look more carefully at those activities that occur on a daily basis that are influencing or shaping the outcomes of success that we are hoping to achieve. The challenge is to improve on those things that are producing “good results” and to “minimize”, challenge and “eliminate” the ones that are no longer producing our desired results. Real change happens over time.
Sometimes making the slightest adjustment to something that we are doing on a daily basis can improve or bring us closer to a new level of success or accomplishment that we are desiring to achieve.
