Direct Impact church planting is the major reason that causes Apostolic Breakthrough Moments to occur. By hearing from God where to go, and who to connect with in the harvest, brings you directly to the front line of the mission field to see where, and how God wants to move in a particular people, and region.
In the world today the church is established in every major city, in millions of districts, counties and rural areas. However, in between the body of Christ across the world; there are millions of unreached peoples who await the gospel. Although they may live near a region that has churches; many of them are still without Christ. The biggest reason for this is because many local churches living near unreached peoples lack vision for the harvest, and funds to do something significant. Let me give you an example of this. Four years back Frontier Harvest Ministries, and Firstlight Intl. partnered in a church plant in Northern Myanmar among the 1 million unreached Pulang people who live in close proximity to the body of Christ.
In the city of Lashio near the Pulang people, God led us to a local Christian couple who with very little resources was taking care of twenty children at risk, and trying to reach the Pulang people with little success. After we got to know this couple, and God confirmed to us that the breakthrough was going to take place through this busted, and discussed local couple, we begun to see God raise up supporters to give money to mobilize this couple and co-workers into the harvest of the Pulang people.
Our Apostolic Breakthrough Moment was at hand! Frontier Harvest Ministries, and Firstlight Intl. led a church planting team into Lashio to do a spire head trip to cast vision and release workers into the harvest. Sixty workers were trained and release to impact the Pulang.
It’s been four years now, and this work has grown three times it’s size. We are now working in 48 or more Pulang villages, continued new convert training takes place through the year, and a continual flow of church planters are being trained and sent through the year.
The Apostolic snow ball is rolling among the Pulang, everywhere it goes Pulang people are sticking to it and being saved, and set free!
