A small Thai soap factory is preparing to launch in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
This is exciting news! We have been working with this couple – Pastor Nalong and his wife Pastor Ruepawn for just about two years. Both are incredible evangelists and are winning souls to Christ regularly. They are planting a Firstlight Fellowship Church in the city of Khon Kaen, Thailand. We are rivileged to serve them in this vision of reaching their own country with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Recently, we have been working on a plan to help them to start a small Thai soap factory to supplement their family income and to plant a church. They are both bi-vocational and are gifted in business, journalism, teaching and administration. Pastor Nalong has received training and has been licensed to purchase and use the chemicals needed to make seven types of soap products. In August 2012 they were three of the seven from Firstlight that were trained in the E Five Project: Church planting through a business platform training with Tony Foster. The picture top left shows the draft copy of their business plan. In 2013, through our MEDIT Project: Micro Economic Development In Thailand, we will work with them to complete the business plan and help to secure the start up costs. For them, this would be a dream come true! Through your Partnership, this year, we can help to make that possible. The kingdom is advancing!
