Launching R.E.A.P. – The Regional Education Assistance Program

Project R.E.A.P is an educational assistance program of Firstlight International in Thailand. The mission: Creating and resourcing learning opportunities for Christ.

The project exists to provide English teachers to Thai schools, educational seminars, and curriculum development for teachers of Thai schools and universities, and financial assistance for educational costs to those from impoverished Thai families.

We will launch R.E.A.P. this month with three Thai students who are coming out of our FWF project, and they will start college this year. Through Project R.E.A.P. Firstlight is committed to helping with their educational needs and through a life skills mentoring program. Educational Seminars and English Camps are being planned for 2013.

The project budget for R.E.A.P. for 2012 is $4,000.00.
