Weddings, weddings and more weddings! Right before we left for our extended trip to Thailand, we were blessed to be part of our dear niece’s wedding the end of June. As we arrived back to the US the beginning for August, we are rejoicing to be able to attend weddings of very precious people nearly every weekend in the month! All we have known since they were children. Some we met through ministry with their parents others are family (another niece, Mary Ecker, is getting married on August 12th). The last wedding we will celebrate, which will actually be in September in Seattle is that of our dear son, Josiah and his beloved McKenna. Their date is Sept. 9th and I know that between now and there will be a whirlwind both for them and for us until that day. Dan is so blessed that they have asked him to officiate. A precious privilege and one I know we all will cherish.
So on that note: Viva L’amore!! Hahaha. I will also be celebrating my 60th birthday this month! 60 years young! If anyone would have told me at twenty that I would be doing the things we do with the people we do them with at 60??? I would have thought they were nuts! Instead…I am completely amazed, utterly grateful and so, so humbled. Thank you all for your love, and your prayers and your generous support through the years. With God continuing to pour out the New Wine, we are refreshed and will continue on! Amen!!
