“For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” Psalm 18:28 KJV

At the beginning of a race, the competitors position themselves in the starting blocks. At the call to make ready, they draw themselves down, fingers to the ground, heels placed in the blocks. Heads up, eyes forward. They tense; the shot is fired; and off they go, exploding out of the block to gain the maximum amount of speed in the least amount of time. Within mere seconds, they are racing, full stride down their lanes; their only thought: finishing well.

After many long months of my life being largely about doctors and medical procedures, I find myself up. Not yet running, but moving forward with purpose beyond healing tissue. I find myself dreaming again. I find myself straining toward the prize of that high calling in Christ Jesus.

At the beginning of 2016, someone gave me the above verse for this year. It really spoke to me, and I fully received it. I so wanted the Lord to restore me to full strength. As I read this verse, I am reminded, that is THROUGH OUR GOD that I will be able to do these things. What a promise.

Firstlight has most definitely blasted out of the starting block. We are rejoicing in the harvest that is being reached among the Pulang people in Myanmar, who up until just now, have never had a church planted among them. “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a Light dawned.” Matthew 4:16

Dan is excited to be back in Thailand last month, and part of this month working with our Firstlight Teams and Firstlight Fellowship churches. The churches in Nan province in the north with Pastor Nott are coming alive!

Coming up in May, Dan he will be heading over to Viet Nam with Chuck Lenhart, and Frontier Harvest Ministries to train a hungry group of Spirit filled church leaders. This will be a first for Dan, in Viet Nam and we are expecting a great report. Then he will return to Thailand, for ongoing ministry there.

Stateside, we have also joined with Son-Burn Encounters, and Abundant Joy Fellowship for a School of Passion. Every Thursday evening, we spend the first hour in prayer, the next two hours are teaching and testimony as well as ministry. It has been a FIREBALL of a time … really. We are so blessed to be part of this great outpouring of God’s Spirit for a new move in Pittsburgh. At the end of the term in June, there will be a team from this group sent on an intercession/prayer/outreach to Israel. Wow!

Thank you, Lord! In You, we are up and running!!
